The Fall/Winter international ready-to-wear collections exploded with color, contrasting elements and motifs and silhouettes that were powerfully feminine. This is the year of the woman—and designers everywhere are honoring her strength, confidence and ability to recognize her personal style. Here at Yoki Collections, I am a women designer and therefore I am designing what will flow and move on the feminine form. This is always in my mind as well as what is on trend and what will look timeless in 20 or 50 years from now.
But for this blog let’s concentrate on the strong color story we saw in all of the fashion capitals including magenta, citrus and golden yellow, purple violet, and blues and greens in vibrant and more toned down hues.
